Kyle Bruce

Kyle Bruce began flight training in 2002 and began his aviation career in 2003 at Peterborough Regional Airport (YPQ) working in airport operations and fueling. With over 20 years of experience in airport operations and management, he serves as Manager, Airport Administration with the City of Peterborough, leading strategic initiatives, capital development, and coordination of airport services at Peterborough Regional Airport.

Following completion of an Advanced Diploma in Aviation Management from Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology, Kyle returned to Peterborough Regional Airport, where he led airport operations through major capital projects, including runway lengthening, development of a new crosswind runway, taxiway and apron expansions, and the integration of new aviation tenant facilities.

Prior to his current role, Kyle held progressive positions with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s Remote Northern Airports program, where he led the management and operation of remote airport sites, including implementation of capital programs, airfield rehabilitation, maintenance, operations, and emergency management.

Kyle maintains a private pilot licence and remains actively connected to aviation through flying, community involvement, and volunteer firefighting. Joining the AMCO Board in 2026, Kyle looks forward to contributing his experience while continuing to learn and grow alongside industry peers.
