Since starting over 50 years ago, Seneca Polytechnic's School of Aviation stands as one of Canada’s leading institutions for aviation education. The School offers three distinct programs: Honours Bachelor of Aviation Technology, Aviation Safety, and Aviation Operations. Operating out of both the Newnham and Peterborough campuses, the School of Aviation provides students with top-quality training at the forefront of the aviation industry, utilizing VR technology and advanced flight simulators such as the KingAir, Cessna 172 (round dial and G1000), Beechcraft Baron G58, Redbird Crosswind Trainer, and CRJ simulator. We are Canada’s Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) managing 12 million aircraft movements a year for 40,000 customers in over 18 million square kilometres – the world’s second-largest ANSP by traffic volume. Our airspace stretches from the Pacific West coast to the East coast of Newfoundland and out to the centre of the North Atlantic, the world’s busiest oceanic airspace with some 1,200 flights crossing to and fr
